My name is Matthew Bugaj. I am a college undergrad student studying Computer Science with a strong emphasis within software programming. I like to think of myself of being more than your average, amateur photographer. I have been taking pictures since I was thirteen years old. I started out using my mother's old P&S Olympia camera. Then, I moved on to a Nikon D40. Now, I use my wonderful Nikon D300s. I enjoy all sorts of genres when it comes to photography: events, modeling, bands (live and promotional), landscape, still life, and so on.

I have joined Model Mayhem to expand my portfolio by finding new models, gigs, and events to shoot. I am an aspiring photographer. I hope to eventually get a degree within the photography field after I finish my Computer Science degree. I also hope to learn from other photographers that are here on Model Mayhem. Tips and tricks are always wonderful to pick up on. As are critiques on my photos.

Most of my work has been done for friends, family, lesser known bands, etc. Though, I have worked with bands such as Unearth, Before Their Eyes, Chimaira, and Skeletonwitch who, in my opinion, are more well known than many of the bands I have worked with locally.
