About Me

Picked up my first camera, a Mamiya 35mm SLR, 35 years ago. I'm not a photographer by trade, but it is one of the art forms I love, along with drawing and painting. Since that first camera I've not been without one...or two...or three. I moved to digital as soon as I could, realizing the power of being able to control the entire workflow, from capture to print.

Noticed my best photos, or at least the ones I always return to, are of people. While I enjoy finding a different viewpoint or angle of a landscape or building, nothing compares to capturing that moment...that view, of a person...a reaction...an emotion.

I'd like to explore the artistic side of portrait photography...creating something unique and different...work with other photographers and models...learn, exchange ideas and grow and give back whenever I can.
