I originally trained as an artist at Graphic Studio and Liverpool College of Art, Hope Street. Later I became more interested in photography including the darkroom side of the business. I worked in the USA for a variety of clients and later returned to the UK, working at the prestigious,Studio10 and Gilchrist Studios (both London), in the field of advertising photography before setting up own business, specialising in photo-composition fashion photography. I should stress that a great deal of my expertise is in the area of commercial photography.

I have developed a number of patented photographic printing technologies and used them in the production of advertising images, mail-order shots and retouching. The business employed 28 staff. Clients included, Sattchi & Sattchi, JWT, Porche, BMW.

I have now engaged in the development of new inkjet printing technologies for use in the photographic and fine-art spheres.
