Tyler's last name "Leiby" is the americanized version of the german word "leib" which means "love" in english. The word LEIBEN translates to "to the life, to a T" It's this concept of love and the idea of bringing his craft to a "T" including a feeling of "life" that truly represents what he strives for in his work. Partly coincidence, partly reason, but the name for not just his business, but what he gives his time to correlates immensely to who he is and what he does.

Tyler Leiby grew up in rural New Hampshire for the first 18 years of his life. After graduating high school and having applied to and accepted to only one school, Harrington College of Design, Tyler had made the best and most life changing decision of his life. Originally percieving the idea as just an escape from his roots, Tyler found a "hobby" to be a passion, a love, and an obsession for photography. Currently undergoing his fourth semester at Harrington, Tyler gives up five days of his week in order to pursue his dream. If you ever visit Harrington 9 out of 10 times you should expct to see him somewhere. When Tyler is not spending time at his school working at the Print Center, in class, or in the studio taking pictures, Tyler is outside of his school taking pictures. With a love for street photography, Tyler ventures stark, alleys, dead end streets, and gritty underpasses to look for things he can only find with his camera. Traveling on busses, trains, and bicycles, Tyler is constantly perceiving, constantly thinking, and forever learning about the world around him.
