We are a sculpting house based in England. We have been established since 2004 and sell direct to consumers as well as to retail outlets worldwide.
My husband Kev is our main sculptor and if you google 'Kev White Sculptor' it will bring up more examples of his work. He has been sculpting now for almost 25 years and primarily uses photographs as reference images for his work as well as anatomy manuals.
This year we have decided that in order for him to be able to put more detail into his larger scale work that we will be commissioning photoshoots for various genres. We had our first one this week (March 2013) for our 'pin-up' range and will be hoping to get a few more sessions in by the end of the year.
Kev sculpts from anatomy upwards, that means he works on an armature by looking at anatomy references of various kinds and once he has the muscle/limb positions and definition that he is happy with he then 'dresses' the sculpture.
We will be using Model Mayhem to source models and photographers who will be willing to pose either dressed or nude for various designs he has in mind. We do not do pornographic images or explicit sexual images, we are a family business (we have 4 kids) and have an excellent reputation in our industry winning many awards for our work. We do however want to explore more 'action poses' with props such as swords, guns ( fake not real!) and costumes.
