My name is Alexis LaRay, and I live and work mainly in the Philadelphia area. I feel like I have countless photos taken by professional or up and coming photographers, yet, ironically enough, I never really referred to myself as a model. I have been involved in the professional dance and theatre world for over a decade, I have done shots for those gigs, and have done actual modeling shoots off and on for about the same amount of time. Within the last 5 years or so I have found myself being sought out to do more risqué shoots, some lingerie, some nude, yet all classy and done with taste in my opinion. I think I progress and get better via the experience I acquire from every shoot. Some pretty talented photographers have photographed me, and I think I have picked up a lot of the details that contribute to the perfect photograph. I think I take direction from photographers very well, as I am very in touch with my body as I was a dancer first. In addition to having a keen sense of body awareness, my acting experience contributes to my versatility as a model, because I can take on different characters, so to speak. I love being on stage or behind the camera. I enjoy the rush and high I get when doing a shoot. My main goal for putting myself out there on this site is to make more connections for networking in regards to potential employment through Model Mayhem.
