I would like to welcome you, and thank you for your interest in the cosmetic artistry services we provide. I am delighted to introduce Faces Under Construction.

I began my make-up artistry career roughly thirteen years ago. I fell in love with the industry at a very young age and immersed myself with literature from the greats; Kevin Aucoin, Francisco Nars, Laura Mercier, and many other talented artists. I simply could not get enough! I began fine-tuning my make-up skills in 1999 working for Neiman Marcus, while studying International Business at the University of Minnesota.

In 2004, I began modeling for print and commercial work to further feed my zest for the arts industry. This provided me opportunity to work with dozens of local and national photographers as not only a model, but as a make-up artist as well!

Over the past eight years I have worked very closely with ShopNBC, and Fox Network’s American Idol, providing cosmetic artistry for potential contestants. I have also worked with several local modeling and talent agencies, including Wilhelmina Intl, as their lead make-up artist. I have appeared in and showcased my artistry in many television, published print, and billboard advertisements.

As for my most recent accomplishments, I became a color artist for Sephora, Mall of America. As a color artist, I performed several full-face makeovers, including skin care facials and even massage therapy every day. I provided my clients with helpful product, technique and application knowledge. This experience was invaluable to me, as I was able to gain the best technique tips from some of the most gifted and recognized make-up artists in the world!
