My name is Edward, and I am a few months away from finishing my degree in Fine Art from Chelsea College of Art - one of the most respected Art Schools in the world. Though I do work with video, I am primarily a performance artist. I have shown my work internationally and have had work commissioned by The Discovery Channel.

My work looks to alter or un-do wider notions of masculinity in relation to power. I am adopting a critical position in order to mediate the ground between ‘the hero’ and ‘the wimp’. In un-doing something that is so binary, I am exploring contradictions; pushing forward an understanding of ‘being’ in relation to enacting identities. The work has started to move in to live performance, with a strong focus on an often-juxtaposing relationship between camp, and endurance.

I am looking for models to help me out on my next project, currently in pre-production; which I am aiming to complete by mid-April. I am looking for a variety of different models, so if you are interested on working with a contemporary London-based Artist then please get in touch. I am also going to be shooting near Exeter in Devon, so models from either London or Devon might be particularly interested. Models would have to be comfortable with nudity and working with myself and/or other models, though this might not necessarily be full-frontal nudity so any conditions one might have surrounding nudity would be considered.

Though I can not afford to pay models, I have in the past taken some exceptional photographs, and so would be willing to take some solo shots of every model, for them to use in their portfolio.
