Well, hello there!
I'm Sera.
I'm mainly a freelance art model, actress, comedian and writer. A "modelographer" if you will. I came into photography in the darkroom in high school and was hooked; although, ironically I grew up without a camera or money to have film developed so who knows where the interest came from.
I've been modeling for 15 years with photographers across the U.S., Europe and Canada and during that time I've also been fortunate enough to convince some other models and modelograhpers to pose for me. Up till now I've been mainly bare bones in approach. I have a Nikon D50 and a 50 prime lens, as well as instax and vintage polaroids. I like to let the model do what feels comfortable to them and appear how they want to be photographed, although I have done make-up and styling with my own creations.
I'm drawn to light and textures, mood and story, emotion and expression.
I like to play around with interesting exposure and light leaks, shooting through refractions and fabric and glass and prisms.

Getting more involved in the photography side moving forward I would like to focus on creating more intense physical sets and photographing the weird world inside my brain.
I do believe in compensating models, however at this time I can only offer Trade, but I am open to helping you create content that you may need for your sites if you want to play around with me for a little bit and see what we can create together. I'm pretty easy going and love to just explore spaces to let the light determine the mood of the shoot.
