I have a B.A. in the visual arts and have been doing photography since 2006. I'm the type of photographer that takes the time to get an interesting composition- angles, the setting, the wardrobe, hair, make-up is all important to me. My style of photography is using natural light for luminous soft portraits. As an artist, I'm experimenting more and more with film photography. Film gives an amazing creamy, colorful, authentic images. (Most of the images you see in my portfolio are film, and I will be shooting at least 90% film at my photoshoots. No worries- the film is scanned in and can be used just like a digital jpeg for prints, web, etc.)
It's all about the gorgeous light for me, so I shoot on-location. I do mostly weddings/engagements for my paid gigs, but would love to venture into more editorial, high-fashioned wedding shoots all shot on film.
