A Texas native with a passion for the film industry, Elissa has been practicing professional make-up artistry for six years. Before moving to Los Angeles in 2005, Elissa attended the film and video program at the Art Institute of Dallas where she learned the basics of lighting, camera, and producing for film and television. After moving to Los Angeles, Elissa attended the Make-Up Designory in Burbank, where in 2005 she earned a certificate in beauty make-up artistry. In 2009, Elissa attended Newberry Beauty School in Granada Hills where she received her esthetician license from the state of California. In 2010, Elissa won “Best Special Effects Make-up” from the Maverick Movie Awards for the film Ashes.
