LaQuelle Mills, currently living in L.A. is a graduated from New World School of the Arts in Miami, Florida. Receiving her degree in the area of dance, concentrating on Graham, Horton, Limone, Ballet and jazz. Her outstanding performances afforded her an opportunity to travel to Kaohsiung Taiwan where she performed and also trained in other culture styles of dance. LaQuelle has performed in a local production of Shakespeare in the Park and has also been the rehearsal director and one of the choreographers for a community show called “The Family Blessing”. Having the opportunity to have worked with Angel Salzaar who played Chi-Chi in the movie Scarface, was just the beginning of her career. She's performed on Good Morning America, danced for Nokia with Nicki Minaj, toured with Diggy Simmons Jet Setter Tour and she’s also toured in China and Japan. LaQuelle is a lead dancer in the company Soul Movement under the direction of Laurie M. Taylor, a Principle dancer in Dundu Dole West African Ballet Company founded by Jai Hinson and she’s studied with Garth Fagan Dance Company, who’s the choreographer of the Broadway production Lion King. LaQuelle has performed as a guest dancer with many companies in the New York area such as Vissi Dance Company, Forces of Nature Dance Theater, Balance Dance Theater and, the first Dance-hall theater production under the direction of Jessica Phoenix. Currently LaQuelle owns her own Entertainment Company called Style-Ography where she mentors young girls through dance, offers fitness classes and also offers opportunities for other dancers in the communities.
