Hi, my name is Trevor Kennedy, owner of EyeCapture Images. I'm a professional photographer and videographer with many years experience capturing breathtaking images for individuals and businesses.

I started in this amazing industry, as many of us do, as a hobbyist. At the age of 15, I picked up my first 35mm film camera at my aunt's wedding and began a journey I couldn't possibly have imagined at the time would lead me to where I am today. Over the years, I’ve been shooting as much as possible. Weddings for friends and family. Quirky projects with my friends. Or just general home movies and snapshots. Anything to be behind the camera. Only recently have I decided to take my hobby that I love so much and make it into a career.

As you can see, my background is rooted in more traditional portraiture and wedding photography. My style is simple, elegant and classic.

I absolutely love "the shoot" and will get the shot by any means necessary. In the past, this has meant climbing up onto roofs, stopping oncoming traffic or getting dirty / wet or both. My aim with any session is to have as much fun as possible. I have a dry / sarcastic sense of humour and will make sure anybody I shoot is 100% comfortable before I even pick up the camera. Only then, will you get the shots you're hoping for.

My goal here is simple. To take on a new challenge and expand my portfolio with experienced and / or up-and-coming models for our mutual benefit. I'm very excited to fill out my repertoire working with some talented individuals within the industry.

Through Model Mayhem, I was connected with Unigirl Canada and was privileged to be chosen as the photographer for their shoot here in Halifax last year. I got to meet 5 amazingly talented and beautiful women and work along side an awesome makeup artist and creative director from Unigirl. Hopefully, they come back again this year.
