Karla Lopez founder and designer behind Karlita Designs entered the LA art, music and fashion scene as a painter and events planner in 2001. In 2003 she opened her own boutique and gallery called Blue Chips. There she showcased LA Designers, Musicians and Artists. While starting the Blue Chips t-shirt line and began designing for her jewelry.

In 2005 Karla Lopez established her second business “Mamacita’s Market” a travel, pop-up, boutique market that featured LA singers, bands, DJs, live silk screening, hair styling and make-up artists, jewelry and accessory designers, clothing designers and artists.

Karla Lopez launched her own line “Karlita Designs” in 2008, focusing on energy and healing properties from the rare-precious gemstones used in her line. She has dedicated the past two years in developing one of a kind, limited designs that create the signature style and trade looks behind Karlita Designs.

Karlita Designs is about empowering women to feel their inner beauty and strength. The intention by our line is to free women from insecurity and get women in touch with strength within in us all, so that we can inspire and lead happier, fruitful existence that we truly deserve.
