She completed graduate studies in Fashion Design and Merchandising at Brooks College College of Art & Design in Long Beach, CA. Shamisa has since held various roles at high end retailers such as Nordstrom and 7 For all Mankind. Shamisa has a less is more approach to fashion and love the work of designer Karl Lagerfeld who is known for designing for Fendi and Chanel early on in his career and Rachel Zoe who has become America's most famous and sought after celebrity stylist. Today at the age of 29, Shamisa is building her brand She Stylez where her motto is "Live life like a dress rehearsal".
