Jennifer Dupuis Photography is a solo venture, a home based photography business, Focusing on new born, toddler and pet photography.

One of my favourite memories is my dad taking family photos on any trip we have ever been on. He always had a roll of film and an old AE Canon around his neck at every family function. I still love flipping through those old photo albums.
My father was the first person to teach me all about how photography works. He would show me all the different functions of the camera and how to use light and framing to make something simple look amazing. My father was a self taught man in so many aspects of his life. He loves teaching anyone that willing to listen anything they wish to know.

It’s no wonder I fell in love with photography! It was also one of the few areas in my life where reading and writing played a small role, and where my ADD and ADHD made me better at it. I was usually very shy, because I was nervous of being judged. Through this outlet and passion I have found a way to express my silly and fun personality without being judged.

Having to grow up second guessing anything you put on paper or anything that you did was mentally exhausting. However, I found my escape in the arts. Photography made me feel free. It slowed me down a bit made me think and take my time. And as I discovered I could help others feel happy through my art, the deeper I fell in my affair with capturing life! I love to make people feel better about them selves with my art. I love making people happy with a photograph of a frozen moment in time.
There is just something so magical about it.
