About Me

Heya! I'm Justin and I'm in my early 30's. I'm an enthusiast photographer / videographer looking for new challenges. I work out of Seattle but travel a lot between the the coastal cities (SD, SF, LA, NY, etc.). I'm always looking for photographic subjects, but rarely looking for models, per se. I prefer candid moments, sincere 'real' experiences, or variations. But I'm always up for trying new things.

I tend to juggle several projects at once. Models/subjects I've worked with have told me that I'm silly, unconventional, and easy going. That sounds about right.

I have a diverse background in tech, travel, wine, and business. I am the principle photographer/videographer for Wine Folly, where I document wine culture, travel, and the people behind the vine. Having said that, I'm here on Model Mayhem to create new sets to keep my creative juices flowing and expand my portfolio of experience.

There are a couple of photos of what I look like in my portfolio.

== Working With Me ==

I don't have standard rates and I don't do contract work. If we are working together it's because we are both mutually invested in creating something interesting.

Escorts/chaperones can be a pain in the ass. If you bring one and they end up being disruptive, we will never work together again. I have many references and I can arrange that a 3rd party be present. Most of what I do isn't on set, but in public places or at a place of business. When a disruptive individual is involved it reflects poorly on me with the businesses/locations that trust me to run a professional shoot.

If you're a no-call/no-show, we will never work together again. Not only is it disrespectful and unprofessional, but it costs me time, which I have very little of.

Except 3-5 portfolio-worthy images from a shoot. It's usually more, but I'm pretty obsessive about making sure we only create great work that we're proud of. Quality over quantity. I never release un-retouched digital images.
