I have been designing clothes since I was old enough to hold a crayon. I first specialized in theatrical costumes, then wedding gowns, but I am having more fun making colorful hooded creations from upcycled sweaters with vintage fabrics and trims and custom buttons.

Many of my creations are inspired by things in nature; often they evolve from a particular color palette or pattern in a cashmere sweater; and sometimes a classic fairy tale is my source of inspiration. When I design with a particular person in mind, I use the information from them about favorite things and colors to unleash my creative spirit. Like most artists who name their works, I also name my works of wearable art, and often times the names come to me as a final adornment for a special creation.
