Raised in the beautiful parish of Clarendon where sugar cane and beautiful women are in great abundance, Shaneen Hosey's aim from a tender age was always to strive for excellence.

Growing up in Chapelton Clarendon, Shaneen was a student of the Chapelton All-Age, Clarendon College High and Edwin Allen High School were her love for the performing arts stemmed and stood out, thus influencing her decision to become a student of the Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts, School of Drama. However acting and dancing was not Shaneen's only passion as she found interest in pageants and was crowned in 2000 as 'MINI MISS CHAPELTON ALL-AGE, 2008 MISS CHAPELTON POLICE YOUTH CLUB 1st RUNNER UP and in 2011 The JCDC MISS CLARENDON FESTIVAL QUEEN 2ND RUNNER UP. Further in her years Nell Robinson became a role model in Shaneen's life and so influenced her to become a freelance fashion model.

Shaneen is described by her peers as jovial, loyal, self motivated, very determined and stubborn at times may also be debated. Her current enrollment at the Edna Manley School of Drama facilitates her completion of a B.F.A. in Drama in Education. This education degree has equipped Shaneen with all this skill and trades of a Qualified Teacher and Drama Practitioner. She proudly describes herself as a 'Model by passion and Teacher by profession'.
