I am a retired agent from the entertainment business. This is now a hobby. I have been a photography buff for many years. I have shot amateur and professional portfolios for many models. I enjoy shooting the unusual. My goal is to help models enter the business with no cost to you. I have worked with many famous television personalities, actors, actresses and models over the years and now it is my time to give back to the industry and the die hards trying to break into the business.

I have worked with models as young as 74. It takes hard work and desire. Remember, this is just my hobby now. I am here to help make your dreams come true, but respect my time.

MY RULES: No smoking before or during a shoot. No lotions or perfumes are to be worn. Be prompt. No escorts permitted at a shoot; HOWEVER, if you wish to bring another female model to participate, I may permit her at the shoot. Experience has taught me most escorts are a nuisance. Follow directions and feel free to add your perspective and insight. Be prepared for hard work and fun.

TIPS for model portfolios: Post various styles of pictures. Too many are dark or shot in the same outfit or location. Do not be angry in your dialect. Many models make the mistake of telling you everything they will not do in lieu of their individual interests. You have just limited yourself and agents are not interested. We will pass you by. We, the agents, want to know your interests so express yourself.

I am often asked why I only allow female escorts on site. I have literally shut down several shoots due to overzealous escorts. No more. Have your escort drop you off and pick you up after the shoot. Is this not logical? This is exactly what they have done for years at my studio and location shoots. No managers or escorts are allowed on a live shoot.

Log-on and check your messages. If you have not logged on to your MM or other model ads at least every other day at a minimum, you will be passed by.

If you are not interested in a job offer, politely decline. When you do not respond, all the professional agents and photographers generally know each other and we tend to pass you by. Many agents, like myself, scan these pages.

Be open minded to jobs. They may seem more overwhelming than they are. Most photographers will work you hard, but keep their sets fun. But, always play safe. You can sense who the amateurs are and who the professionals are in this industry.

The first model listed below gave me this specific idea. Why not list all those models who schedule a shoot and do not show. Many agents set up shoots and invest a great deal of time and money. When a model fails to contact you or show for a shoot, they are classified as taboo. We agents do talk amongst ourselves. You are your own worst enemy. So, with this said, here is the first among many on the wall of shame.
