Fascination with nature and the serene beauty of the world has been the inspiration for emerging photographer Christopher Grensted. Starting his work exclusively in the field, Christopher has realized the necessity of the photo studio as well. Experimenting with creative posing, lighting and use of scenery and models, he is expanding both range and portfolio.
Recently, Christopher was invited to photograph Premier Winterfest, an opportunity he says changed his life. He also works with the US Navy at NAS Patuxent River, working with the Air Traffic Control division. Additionally, he works with Life Community Church photographing for the development of their new building, documenting all of the church events and the Life News publication. Christopher also works with local families doing portraiture throughout southern Maryland.
Naturally, Christopher loves taking pictures. He will tell you, “photography is the best work I have found so far, and unless I find a way to get paid for eating pizza and playing video games, I don’t think that will ever change.” His passion for beauty and creativity are always at play. He never stops looking at the world from new angles and in unique ways.
With the professional quality equipment finding its way into the hands of more enthusiasts, there are more photographers bridging the gap between hobbyists to professionals. A member of PPA and SMCCC, Christopher is dedicated, not only to professionalism and quality, but also to other photographers who are serious about living their dreams as a professional photographer.
