Li Lei has turned her passion for color, art, and beauty into a career as a fashion, makeup and apparel professional, as well as the founder of Naked City Handbags, a website devoted to: "stylish necessities". She currently works full-time for a women's apparel manufacturer.

Li is a graduate of the prestigious Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Los Angeles, where she majored in Merchandise Marketing; and of the Academy of Makeup and Fashion: On Set, in San Fernando Valley, CA, which provides education in the Art and Science of Professional Makeup Artistry and Image Management. Under the guidance of Celebrity Makeup Artist Barbara Layne, Li became a certified Master Media Makeup Artist in 2012, and is proud to use a broad range of the finest quality makeup brands available in her work, including Cinema Secrets, Ben Nye, MAC, Makeup Forever, and many more.

Li specializes in bridal parties, special occasions, glamour, runway, male dominance makeup, makeup for film and photography. She is a member of the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) Alumni association, and enjoys rollerblading, shopping, and eating with positive cheerful loved ones.
