Kathryn (Kat) is an artist, traveler, and self described tree hugger. She was born on a military base in southern California and grew up moving from station to station until graduating from high school in Okinawa, Japan. The various people and cultures she has experienced along the way have broadened her world view and given her a thirst for new experiences.

While living in New Orleans, Kathryn attended the New Orleans Center for the Creative Arts where she studied visual arts and received training in everything from painting and photography to ceramics. She approaches hair with an artists's eye.

After spending some time in Los Angeles, Orlando, and Mexico, Kathryn landed in Austin, which her family calls home. She began cosmetology school in Los Angeles and then transfered to Baldwin Beauty School where she graduated. Kathryn's always looking for something new to learn. In her free time you'll find Kathryn outdoors or indulging in one of Austin's culinary offerings.
