My photographic work has progressed in the last few years from support for my design to much more than a hobby. As a practising designer my creativity has been enhanced by the other activities that I do and photographing models in differing situations has helped my creativity in all areas.
The whole creative process is helped when there is response from the model, something not possible in other creative areas. I feel that my best work is done when I work to a theme, but I also enjoy the spontaneity that comes from the interplay between me and the model.
As a general rule I give each model a set of images on completion of the shoot.
On the down side on really only work in my studio and avoid location work.
