Experience in the field is vast; capturing subjects on the fly with good results is an exhilarating challenge and creates great imagery.

Motorsports is large part of my professional past and my image from Oulton Park in 2010 was voted runner up in the MSV Oulton Park photo challenge judged by renowned F1 photographer James Moy. Other recognition and awards for my work includes "images of the day". I consider myself a more a purist photographer then a techy Photoshop user. I have studied and practiced the use of Lightroom and Photoshop and appreciate how important these tools are in contributing to images we often see around us. When provided the choice I shoot in natural light but have gained valuable experience using strobes and light modifiers. My objective remains that I always get the most out of my knowledge of the camera and use digital tools to refine. To my mind post production is for taking images to a place you can not get to with the camera.

I'm always looking for new challenges and experiences that I can create images from.
