Biography

Paul Mazzio is an independent filmmaker born in Brooklyn NY. Paul made the move to San Francisco in 2002 to pursue a broad range of creative interests including filmmaking, music production and digital multi-media.

Paul has showcased his visual media and original music in various venues around New York City, San Francisco and Los Angeles. He has studied acting at HB Studios in Manhattan, media communications at New York Institute Of Technology and most recently, after a brief stint in LA (where he landed a supporting role in an independent short film called Dixon), Paul returned to his favorite city in 2012 to attend the highly regarded Cinema Production program at City College in San Francisco.

Within the past two years, Paul has written his first feature length screenplay and has a number of treatments also in development. He has produced, directed and acted in several short films (soon to be entered into various film festivals across the country) and is currently packaging a feature screenplay called “The Count Of Storybook Gardens” for investment. The screenplay is a darkly comic, crime drama. Plans are underway to get the picture into production by 2014.

Paul is eager and excited to be working with up and coming filmmakers, actors and film industry professionals who endeavor to create their own opportunities in the evolving landscape of today’s independent film industry.
