Paul Romano is a fine artist and designer living and working in Philadelphia. Romano has spent 20 years working professionally, 13 years of which in the music industry, creating band identities over the course of 230 albums. Through the application of his training in fine art and commercial design, Romano fully immersed himself into the personal landscapes of each band; attending practices, researching inspirations in tandem with band members, as well as delving into the personal mythologies of the lyrics and narratives of the music. This personal approach and exquisite attention to detail led to a highly cohesive branding technique, including a distinct visual language tailored for each client. Always transcending the singular image of a record cover by controlling the art direction, merchandise and stage sets of each band, allowing for a fully realized vision to emerge with a high level of brand recognition in the marketplace.

For the past five years Romano has taken to showing his fine art and pursuing that side of his career.
