As a graduate from Make-up Designory School in New York City, Yana's experience ranges from fashion, editorial, TV, and runway to bridal and celebritiy makeup and hair styling.

As a freelance makeup artist Yana worked for major TV shows and networks such as “Today Show”(NBC),”Good morning America”(ABC), “Sports Illustrated “SI Now”, “People Now', “Entertainment Tonight”( CBC), “Watch What Happens Live”(Bravo TV), “The Face” (Oxygen TV), TNT/TBC, ESPN, Reuters. She worked with some of the most popular faces on TV and Entertainment including: Morgan Freeman, Dermot Mulroney, David Duchovny, Danny Aiello, Alan Cumming, Megan Boone, Ana Ortiz, James Spader, Alanna Masterson, Ricky Schroder, Kelli Giddish, Jason Schwartzman, Jason Lee, Amy Morton, Nick Lachey, Jenni Pulos, Ramona Singer, Pete Holmes, Malcolm McDowell, Brooke Anderson, Rocsi Diaz, etc.

Recently, she did a cover shoot for Yerevan magazine featuring Iron Chef Geoffrey Zakarian. She also has two cover shoots for Celebrity Parents Magazine: one for TV actor Ricky Schroder, and one for actress and artist Jenni Pulos (Flipping Out, Bravo TV).

Further more, in her career path she worked at numerous weddings. One of the weddings was featured in the bridal magazine Magnolia Rouge.
