Creative intellect started early for Mike Alimir. Even as a child he strived for originality by creating unique objects through painting, sculpting and building. The passion for creating and experimenting carried into his young adulthood when he found a new form of expression through the camera’s lens. For him, Photography was a liberating art form since he could harvest life’s fleeting moments and preserve it forever.
His higher education in architecture was an experiment in combining science and art. He established a career in building structures which all included his personal spirit. A lifetime of creativity and experimentation has culminated in his career as a photographer; a career for exploration, documentation and creative expression.
