One of the biggest mistakes Models, Photographers, Make Up Artist and Hair Stylist make is that they forget to hire a great wardrobe stylist to make the Model look fab from head to toe. This is an importance ingredient that should not be overlooked. I make sure the photos are clean and I have an eye for details that others miss. My goal is to make the entire shoot a success!

Mike Michaels is a experienced on set Wardrobe Stylist based in California. He got his start doing freelance styling of mannequins, merchandising and window displays part time at various retail specialty boutique stores all around Southern California. After being “discovered” by Elaine Pasternak, the owner of Macy’s Beverly Center, Michaels headed up the Visual Display department and was instrumental in setting up the new Men’s department on the coveted 1st floor. He personally did the styling for all the mannequins in the premier window on the corner of La Cienega and Beverly Boulevard full time in addition to managing a team to do visual displays throughout the store. The transition to styling live models has been a natural for Michaels. He is currently looking to expand his Portfolio with updated looks so is accepting some TFP. He also is a personal wardrobe stylist for music artist, actors, actresses, models, and performance artist and is open to some TFP, depending on the project. His specialty is in the modern contemporary style but he is also comfortable doing time period specific styling and celebrity look-a-like styling.
