Hi my name is Rod, I've been into photography since the mid 60’s when I was processing film and paper on the front room floor after my parents had gone to bed (the only way I could get a dark room), went through all the years of film and paper and now like most enjoying the freedom of digital.
I am a semi-pro photographer, a clockmaker by trade with a studio attached to my workshop. Please see my website for more details about that. My studio is for hire or if you wish I can do a shoot for you. All my sets are as authentic as I can make them and they get updated as and when items become available, so if you would like to do a shoot in a pub bar or a stable but don’t want an audience then this is the place for you. I am at the moment making the place bigger and adding a space that can be used for temporary sets. Hope to see some of you there. Hello there, your port really intrigues me.. Your work is brilliant, however as a girl of old times who enjoys the more authentic , original, old fashioned times of life, the fact of you also being a clock maker amazes me , in a time like this such jobs are becoming non existent! . I adore clocks.. And just had to ask, do you Still make them with the old mechanisms ,like proper clock work used to be?" also would love to shoot!! :) haha..
