Hello, I'm Dustin, an artist living in Houston. I'm a chemist by day, but that's just to support my hobby. I'm very serious about drawing and painting, and have shown locally and in other cities. I'm a "semi-pro" I guess... I'm building up my portfolio to maybe get some side gigs as an artist and/or make a name for myself in the gallery scene.

I studied at an academy in my spare time as a realist. Before that I was an outsider. Untrained and passionate. Now, I'm experimenting with a process that involves taking photos, manipulating them in photoshop, then transferring them to canvas and giving them the "human touch". I love color and use A LOT of it. I like to take things that don't "belong" together and use color to bring them to the same space. Whether or not "it" will work out? I dunno...
