Arjia Thomas, born and raised in Mobile, AL, is a professional Make up Artist based out of New Orleans, LA and surrounding areas. Arjia moved to New Orleans in 1996 due to her mother’s job transfer. From that point on she’s been a New Orleans citizen. Arjia attended Southern University at New Orleans where she obtained her Bachelors and Masters Degree in Criminal Justice. Arjia has been in the makeup industry for 10 years. She started her career as a make up artist in 2002. She has worked and obtained special training and skills from companies such as Lancôme, Clinique, Estee Lauder, Fashion Fair and MAC. She’s also a partner/co owner of Simon Thomas Artistry. Certified under the Louisiana Department of Cosmetology, Arjia is an expert in beauty makeup to minor special FX. Arjia works primarily in the New Orleans area as a Professional Makeup Artist but is available and willing to travel upon request. Arjia has recently broken out into the film and television side of things extending her experience and career as a successful and dedicated professional makeup artist.
