My passion at Davidanelsonphotography is capturing the beauty of the human form in all its permutations.
I am an experienced and published photographer and have models in numerous magazines (not the ones only family and friends buy), calendars and art studios I'm always looking to work with models who have ambitions of being published.  I work with a number of clothing designers and with several on-line athletic wear companies.

I have taught classes on photography, posing, lighting, both in studio and on locatio.I am one of the few photographers who is adept at balancing artificial (flash or strobe) light on location to make the model pop in the image without destroying the background. The difference between a professional and a GWC is the ability to use light.
I greatly enjoy working with creative individuals and welcome thoughts and ideas about concepts.

While except for unique models or unique ideas I do not offer TFP for models although rates can be tailored to individual abilities.  That said, I do believe that models should be rewarded for their work, whether it is their first attempt at modeling or if they are a very experienced model.  I always permit models to select up to 20 images that will be professionally finished and suitable for usie on social media, professional portfolios and submissions to publications. 

I rarely update my portfolio photos on MM and would prefer you visit my Instagram feed  davidanelsonphotography, since Covid 19 I have taken a break from social media, but will be back soon.  For my Instagram and website, I have young nieces who follow me so my images are all PG, but it will give you an idea of my skill level  or visit  one of my flickr sites https://www.flickr.com/photos/dnel12/.

I have extensive experience and enjoy working with models who have no or little prior modeling experience.

I am more than willing to travel to unique locations to capture those special images.  For inexperienced models or for experienced models needing photos for their profile or portfolio I do offer PFT. If you’re willing to travel I am willing to pay mileage.
