I am a photographer who has been taking "functional" photography for the past 15 years; but made the leap a few years ago to creating photographic art. I have shot a number of amateur models and continue to develop my artistic side. The photos on my profile are but a sampling of my work.

I'm always seeking opportunities to express my creativity, and prefer portraiture as a way to do that. I am open to developing new skills. If you are seeking a hard-working photog who will go the distance to make you look good, feel free to contact me!

I am a big fan of using natural lighting and the available surroundings wherever possible in shooting. I think a relaxed environment for the model is paramount, so drop sheets, hot lighting, and constantly moving shadows can get in the way of taking great shots. There is a time for that, but just saying that I gravitate to use of available and existing natural light and surroundings as much as possible.
