I'm Alex Garcia a 21 year old Fashion Designer (FIDM Alumni). Fashion design wasn't a passion of mine since a toddler I was confused and didn't know what to do, I knew I was creative but didn't know how to enhance it. Growing up I would be on my computer 24/7 researching designers,red carpet events and instantly knew fashion design was what I wanted to do. I've been sewing for four years now and love it! I'm very ambitious and determined to succeed in the industry no matter how long it takes. I design women's evening-wear which is what I love the most. I'm very fascinated by high fashion, by someone who communicates something new and extraordinary, If I can do that and make women feel modern, sophisticated, and glamorous in style, I would then know I've done my job right! Occasionally I like to do photo-shoots to build up my portfolio. I have a long way to go, but overall fashion designing is my true passion, as they say "in fashion one day your in, the next day your out" in my eyes I'll always be in!
