I’m an artist working out of Grand Rapids, Michigan. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from Eastern Michigan University. Throughout my undergraduate career I worked primarily from the figure with pen & ink as my medium, and this continues today.

I’ve described my work as faceted and structural. The smooth contours within the figure are often transformed into rigid, almost sculptural lines. I enjoy mixing this style with a more naturally shaded and rounded look within the same figure to create a focal point on each. All of my drawings are from life, and I find that most of my creativity comes from having a model in front of me.
