Lina O`Connor has been fascinated with world of fashion since she was a teenager. Raised by a Colombian father and a Canadian mother, she saw the world with different eyes already as a child. At 16, wanting to explore the earth further, she decided to save up money and move to Paris. From there she traveled to every city in France as well as London, Spain, Austria and Slovenia. London really caught her attention.
There were no fashion rules and it was liberating.
All the different people and styles were all she imagined it to be. Same with Paris… people dressed different.
The hats, the cuts, the sophistication!
She finally fit in.
While living in Paris she also started modeling, something that then brought her to New York.
The city was a dream come true, and a within a week she did a shoot in Cuba with the Buena Vista Social Club.
Then it was off to Milan with Armani.
She was skyrocketing in the fashion world without even knowing how it happened, and she worked with photographers like Craig McDean, Terry Richardson, Helmut Newton, Aldo Fallai, and many more.
She shoot for magazines such as Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Glamour, and Marie Claire, and for 4 years she worked non-stop through every country in Europe, as well as The US and Japan.

At 21, Lina decided to move to London, It was a great home base for her career. She had become interested in what was happening behind the scenes and she wanted to expand her horizon. She started producing and styling shoots for Zoot magazine, and she shot many covers for them before Nina Godfrey from Vogue UK gave her a chance to assist.
She loved working with Nina on their high-end shoots, and it was during this time, she also started working with record labels and artist such as Tricky as well as costume and stage design. Loving every minute of it, she finally felt that she has found her true passion.
