I'm Molly (pseudonym), I'm 19, and though I have primarily worked 'behind the lens' I have recently been encouraged to get in front of the camera and model...so here I am!
I want to change the world some how, through journalism, photojournalism, or modeling. I want the little girls who grew up feeling ugly or chubby or worthless, to know that they are more than that and that they can overcome anything, because everyone is beautiful in some way, there is beauty everywhere and I want to show people how to find it. I am a survivor - I was homeless for a short period of time, did not graduate from high school on time(I eventually got over my shame and went back and graduated), escaped a physically abusive relationship/stalker, and overcame bulimia. If I can survive, so can you. I want to show the broken down and the hopeless, that survival is possible and that anyone can be anything, they can get through this and they can be successful. I also want to show all those that have made me feel stupid, ugly, and worthless in every way as a human being, that they were wrong, that I am of some value to society and that their efforts to hurt me were fruitless, as I am alive and I am going to make something of myself and make this world a little less terrible.
