Craving for a life of her own at the tender age of 19, Destiny moved to Red Wing, Minnesota. Throughout the next couple of years, she faced major heartache, tremendous pain of abuse, and cultural struggles; being the victim of a hate crime in 2008. But mustering up the strength she was taught by both her father and step-father, she pulled through and came out even stronger than she knew she could be. These experiences inspired her to tell her stories, and the stories of others through acting.

At the age of 24, Destiny started this new chapter in her life: acting. This passion landed her at John Robert Powers (JPR) for further coaching, during which she learned various ways of expression through acting.

On top of her acting abilities, Destiny's modeling and dancing abilities combined make her stand out among the rest. She has done print-modeling and commercial work; also appearing on a local television show for her freestyling dance. At heart, Destiny is a natural at dance and feels that dancing allows emotion to shine through the body; which gives her a leg up in her acting. Among freestyling, Destiny also does hip-hop, salsa, the Jarabe Tapatio (Mexican Hat Dance), and enjoys choreography.

Destiny finds peace when giving back to not just the community, but to the world. She feels it is extremely important for everyone to give back, whether it be a little or as much as one wishes. Some of the charities that she holds dear to her heart are; Toys for Tots, WWF, Child Hunger Ends Here, Product Blue, and the Japan Earthquake Relief. But they do not end there, as she is very involved with various animal charities as well. Destiny has also participated in helping to make hygiene kits for MIWRC.

Moved to Los Angeles last year and just working on projects left to right. And helping out with Union Station Homeless Services and other communities.
