I have an associates in cosmetology and was a hairstylist for about 5 years and was a freelance makeup artist and found that I love makeup more than hair. I took a 3 year break after my second son was born to be a stay at home mother, moved from Houston to Austin Texas, and is now ready to start up makeup again. My goal is to rebuild my clientle and network through this site. I have been out of the game for a while and I am willing to work some some free jobs to rebulid my portfolio and just meet new people and expand my creative vision. Most of my experience has been in bridal makeup but I have also done two runway fashion weekend shows in Houston. My favorite thing that I am currently doing now is lots of fantasy makeup for renaissance festivals. You would think that makeup would be minimal because of the time period but because of the steampunk movement and fantasy creatures it can get very avantgarde. I would love to do some editorial or something just more risque than bridal although I respect the fact that it is my roots. I have also worked for Benift cosmetics and Borghese.
