I have recently taken up stock photography, and am looking to hire for seasonal images in various outdoor locations.  Once the pandemic is over, I will start doing studio work again.  I don't want to produce what everyone else is doing, so unusual styles are a plus.  I am looking to start with trade for portfolio, and then will discuss payment for subsequent gigs if the images sell. 

I am also working on something I call the Portrait Project.  I am offering a portrait taken with an 8x10 film camera.  I am looking for interesting people, preferably couples, but slightly large groups will do.  The location is the Portland, Oregon metropolitan area and nearby towns.  I'm trying to build a portfolio, so I can't pay to start out, but I will provide a free, one-of-a-kind web-ready portrait to participants. All I ask is that everyone sign a model release so that I can use it to advertise.  This would be ideal for models just starting out, or whoever wants to be photographed with a historic camera. 

My portfolio photos are very old, and don't reflect what I am doing these days.  I had been working on a "Jazz Age" project in 2009, which was a series of pictures that attempted to recreate nude photography from the 1920's using photographic equipment from that period.  I am open to reviving it once the pandemic is over.  I would like to explore more modern styles as well, with an emphasis on taste and image quality.
