It's been a long time coming, but i'm taking the step now to get the work out there. Its not a lot but its a start...
I'm fascinated by the human form. Male, female, its all amazing. My partner in life has often urged me to take this step, and with her as my model (initially) i hope its a good step together.
I can draw and have a keen eye from behind a lens. An amateur photographer at present yet with practice that will improve. My ultimate passion is sculpture, humanoid mostly but will try my hand at the fantasy genre soon enough. I started photography as a means to study human form and create poses for my statues, but have found that photography in itself holds a large degree of satisfaction when looking at the creation and end result.
There is not much opportunity as an 'outsider' to grow a portfolio, so my hope is to achieve a small following of people who enjoy my creations and would perhaps like to help me as a model in creating new art for a portfolio. Right now it is a hobby, i hope at some point commission work or similar may come of this.
