I'm a professional Cinematographer and film-based Still Photographer, specializing in Medium Format and Large Format conceptual fine-art photography. I apply a Cinematographic approach and style toward my still photography; in that I construct sets and environments, and light them as I would a film production.

My photography typically has an obfuscated underlying narrative and overtly dark themes, while struggling for a balance between the atavistic and the intellectual. I have no puerile intention to shock or offend, I rather seek to make the known and commonplace become alien and horrific when viewed through the lens of my mind. My work is evocative of the familiar as it exists in the most forgotten and desolate corner of humanity. But sometimes, dwelling in the darkness, there is a measure of beauty to be found.
