Hailing from Kingston, Jamaica, Allan began his journey into the world of fashion by working for his mother’s seamstress business at the tender age of seven. Under her tutelage, he not only developed and mastered the skill to create beautiful clothes, but also learned the importance of a strong work ethic. Upon completing his degree at the world- renowned Fashion Institute of Technology, he later became an integral part of the design teams at Baby Phat, Guess Inc., Michael Kors (outerwear/licensing) and currently freelance for Michael Kors Sportswear. Continuing on his path to success, Allan decided to feature his own self-titled spring/summer collection at Jamaica Style Week 2010 and 2011. His designs received impressive reviews, including a write up in the Jamaica Gleaner, the “New York Times” of Jamaica and Italian Vogue (Vogue Italia).
