Mike Zimmer started working as a videographer over 10 years ago with a small corporate and wedding video company. Over the three years within that company, Mike used his excitement and determination to teach himself all the technical and creative skills (shooting, audio, lighting, editing) needed to capture intriguing and eye-catching images. Since then Mike has become a well sought after Director of Photography and Camera Operator.

Mike has had the opportunity to travel the world shooting a wide variety of formats. Be it from feature films (WolfCop, 2013), to documentary (ChristCore, 2012), to reality TV (Boomtowners, 2014). It is very important to Mike to stay active in the many forms of filmmaking. This allows him to always stay sharp and relevant in todays industry. This includes adapting his shooting skills to include photography. His background has given him a unique advantage and vision over most photographers out there. Creating thought provoking images that tell a story, forcing the viewer to pay attention.
