I have been shooting corporate work for the past 4 years. Most of it has been for web or print, and it has been mostly medical industry content. I enjoy stretching myself with applying my DSLRs to video, time lapse, night time and other creative and technical pursuits, but the corporate work pays the bills.
The medical industry has actually been very interesting. It has caused me to really focus on very specific details as it relates to poses and positioning. Often the art directors are not technically versed in the equipment or devices we are shooting, so I get to work with engineers and doctors to capture the exact aspects of the things they are trying to communicate. It has also caused me to become very detail oriented in regards to lighting. I enjoy the technical challenges, and it allows me to pay for the tools that I can use creatively in my free time.
I'm here to network and possibly do some creative work to stretch myself and have some fun. I'm also always on the lookout for models (m&f) with minimal/no body mods or art to cast in <paid> corporate shoots. Usually the models are mixed race, middle aged, and medium build (not thin), and used to demonstrate a product or procedure. Thanks for checking me out.
