Marilena Stavrakidi was born in Athens, Greece 1991. While seeking for diversity and culture in her social surrounding she moved in Washington DC. The alluring flare of fashion photography grew strongly and infectiously within her.

“To my mind photography and imaging is a passive form of art. It doesn’t have to be rational, yet it must evoke the viewer’s wit. It’s my belief a successful image not only creates emotion to the observer but indulges him/her to think further, inspiring that person. Finally it is my opinion that photography is about looking forward, combining and creating something uniquely beautiful to the eye.”
