About Me

My name is Kirsten Filonczuk. I'm a natural light photographer mainly interested in Boudoir and Weddings. I do some promotional material for myself and need models from time to time. I love working with women and improving their self-esteem. I am a creator first and foremost. My medium might change from time to time but the love of creating something beautiful is too much of a draw to pursue anything else. As a film student at Loyola Marymount University School of Film and Television I learned a variety of techniques for doing just that: creating. Now, after a extensive study of inspirational women like Sue Bryce and other renown photographers I've finally found a niche: helping others see the beauty in life and in themselves. Boudoir is one of my favorite types of photography solely for the reaction of the women as they look at their photos with wide-eyed suspicion and child-like awe staring at each photo and back at the photographer as if to say, "Is that me?" Yes it is, and you're beautiful. Photography is that one truly amazing medium that allows more than one person to take a moment and feel wonderful.

Hey, I'm interested to come to America in future but at the moment while traveling is still difficult, I am offering remote shoots in Melbourne until March 4th or 7th. I'm currently working with other photographers to do remote/virtual shoots but I hope to get my own gear & do more on location remote shoots so I should have other locations around Australia to offer in future. I have a city central apartment with a rooftop balcony, large natural light windows, a range of backdrops & can use the buildings facilities of a gym, spa, pool & sauna as well as the indoor concreate fire escape. My rates for remote shoots are less than what I charge for in person shoots. Let me know how many hours you would like me to quote you for & if you like to pay by PayPal or a bank transfer to my UK bank or AUS bank. We would tether the camera to the laptop & screen share so you can control the settings/shots. We can chat over FaceTime or WhatsApp during the shoot.
