Josie is a Southern California native who is passionate about making the world a more beautiful place one face and hairstyle at a time. She loves looks that tell a story; from effortless beach beauties to glamorous sirens, edgy rockers, and high fashion haute couture print. Her philosophy of beauty is that it should create an emotion, have fluidity and always bring out the best qualities of a person, inside and out.

Josie began her career at Makeup Designory in Burbank, CA in 2002. She has since received training from Vidal Sassoon Academy, Bumble&Bumble, Davines, and in-salon education from prestigious Jet Rhys Hair in San Diego, CA. She has worked on celebrity clients and been featured in Inside Weddings and San Diego Magazine for her hair and makeup artistry.

As a salon veteran of 9 years, Josie is an expert in the latest haircutting and coloring techniques, ranging from precision work to free hand hair painting and razor cuts. Wet and dry setting hair to create bridal and editorial styles is another one of her passions. She has experience in both studio work and on location with male and female talents. Always with a sunny disposition, she'll work long and difficult days with a smile of her face.
